🌿 Sarajevo Expats Cleanup Action – Doljanka River (Jablanica)

Join the Sarajevo Expats community for a meaningful day in nature as we support a local cleanup initiative along the beautiful Doljanka River — an area that was heavily affected by the destruction of a nearby depony, which was swept into the river from the heavy floods in autumn 2024.

Together with local partners and volunteers, we’ll spend the day helping restore this unique natural environment while connecting with others who care about making a tangible impact.

🕘 Time: 8:00 AM (departure from Sarajevo – Zmaj od bosne 3, Sarajevo)

During the cleanup we will:
* Collect and remove waste from the river and the surrounding area
* Support ongoing local efforts to rehabilitate the ecosystem
* Spend time outdoors in one of Herzegovina’s most scenic valleys
* Connect with a diverse group of expats and locals

What’s provided:
* Transportation from Sarajevo
* Gloves, bags, and necessary equipment
* Lunch and refreshments (if you are vegan, please let us know in advance)

The goal is simple:
